Frequency and Count

Count is the total number of observations in a statistical category, e.g. five cars, three houses. A category can also represent a class interval, e.g. number of children between the age 6-8, number of visitors between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, etc.

Frequency is the number of times something happens in a certain period of time, such as number of rain showers during the day or the number of storms in a year.
